It was a full house! Welcomed by AccorHotels Arena Director Nicolas Dupeux, and in the presence of the South Korean Ambassador, Paris&Co and its partners presented the new incubator for the entire esports sector.
THE answer to one of the biggest cultural trends in recent years
“The esport market is experiencing growth that offers economic opportunities we must seize: a global marketplace of €900 million today, projected to reach €3 billion by 2022”, declared Loïc Dosseur, Co-CEO of Paris&Co.
This ambitious project is the answer, complete with a unique venue located in the East of Paris that will run training programs, build awareness and promote the practice of esports accessible to all.
“We want to make this space available to the entire ecosystem as a catalyst for encounters, a place to exchange gaming know-how, solve problems, and decrypt the jargon used by players to facilitate communication between professional teams and institutions or corporations”, says Bertrand Perrin, Head of Level 256.
